Valley Players Set Building

Members are our life blood, and we always welcome newcomers (and old friends). Perhaps you have always had a burning ambition to make your friends see you in a new light as the next Olivier or Dench. They all had to start somewhere! Or perhaps you have wondered how a stage set is built from scratch over a couple of weekends. You may even only be looking for an excuse to get out of the house and away from the television for a change.

Whatever your age or interests, you will be warmly welcomed by the Valley Players. We rehearse twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, between September and the following April, for a total of three productions each season. We also have a varied and enjoyable programme of social events for our members throughout the year. These include local theatre and cinema visits, bowling nights, pizza nights, and a country walk once a year in June.

Why not come along to one of our Club nights to find out more? These are held on Wednesdays from 7.30 in the Community Centre in Elsdon Avenue, Seaton Delaval during the season. You can find a map of the area here.

If you want to support us without becoming an active member, why not become a Patron of the society? This will guarantee your tickets for the season. All we ask is for a donation to cover the price of your tickets. Ticket prices for this season are £5.00 full price and £4.00 concessions (children, the unwaged and senior citizens.)

If you are unable to get to one of our Club nights, or if it is out of season, please contact us here.
